Let’s get started on your journey as a Taxi Driver-Partner!
Download & Sign Up For An Account!
- Download the RYDE Driver App from the App Store, Google Playstore or AppGallery
- Sign up with your mobile number
- Key in the One-Time-Password (OTP) that is sent to your mobile number
- Enter your name, e-mail and gender
- Enable phone notifications to receive trip requests and messages from riders.
*It is important to enable notifications for the best user experience.
Personal Verification
- Tap on “View Profile” to edit your profile
- Upload the front side of your NRIC
- Please ensure the photo is clear with all four corners visible
- Next, upload the back side of your NRIC
- Then, upload a recent photo of yourself
- This will be your public profile so please ensure your face is visible
- Lastly for personal verification, key in your date of birth, NRIC number and home address
Driver’s License and Vehicle Verification
- Upload the front side of your driving license. Please ensure that the photo is clear with all four corners visible
- Next, upload the back side of your driving license. Please ensure that the photo is clear with all four corners visible
- Tap on vehicle details and fill in your vehicle make and model
- Then, upload a photo of the front side of your car. Please ensure the car’s license plate number is visible
- Please fill in your vehicle registration number
- Tap on “Taxi Driver” to upload the required documents for Taxis
- You will be required to upload the following documents
- Start by uploading a front-facing photo of your Taxi Driver Vocational License
- Upload a picture of your Mobile Data Terminal. Please ensure that your MDT displays your name and car plate number.
- Lastly, select your taxi company
- Thank You! You’re All Set! We will verify your account within 2 working days.
